During the fall of 2012, Victoria attended Texas State University in San Marcos. While she had many friends with her, (hey Teresa!), she missed home. Some of her closest friends from Houston came out to visit, and it was here that she met Josh for the first time. It was something so natural and organic, they became friends right from the beginning.

Victoria moved back home for many reasons, but eventually transferred to the University of Houston. While UH is THE best university, it's considered a commuter school for a reason. Needless to say there were many hours stuck in traffic that were shared listening to songs and podcasts. When they weren't at campus they were at Victoria's house or Josh's apartment bingeing shows. They were there for one another through all the big moments until 2016...

Josh moved to Nashville for grad school! He came back to visit a couple of times and it would always be like no time had passed. Thanksgiving 2019, Victoria impulsively bought a ticket to visit Nashville! They were both single for the first time since the first time they met. Josh brought her to meet his sister and brother-in-law, and they all just clicked. By the end of the night she was invited back for Christmas - which she of course went back to!

On the Wednesday of Spring Break, the whole nation started shutting down because of the pandemic and Victoria was then stuck in Nashville with no return date. They went from best friends to roommates in a span of a week. By the end of that summer they were engaged! And a few months later, on December 21, 2020 they were married at the Cypresswood Courthouse. The rest is history.
